It's A Family Affair!

Sitting here on another gorgeous winter's day at the Brats HQ, reflecting on the fiscal just been, one fact is certain: we could not have achieved collectively and individually what we have without the committed Brats family! Throughout the year our courageous Brats put their best foot forward at castings to obtain jobs and give their all at shoots but the journey, preparations and family involvement prior to this go largely unacknowledged. We are firm believers that every so often one needs to take a step back from the day to day runnings of any ship and celebrate the small and large victories along the way. Well done to all Brats, brothers, sisters, Mums, Dads and Nans. If the saying goes "it takes a village to raise a child" - then we would like to ad 'it takes an entourage and a half to raise and nurture a child model!'. We applaud Amanda, mum of our supermodel Bethany, who tirelessly supports her daughters dreams and transformations from schoolgirl to NIDA student, dancer to athlete and then steers her back into the casting rooms and shoots all with the attitude of an absolute saint. Amanda doubles as a hair stylists, behind the scenes photographer, PA, counsellor, bookkeeper, nutritionist and all the millions of other roles one plays as a mum! Here's a few of the shots Amanda took behind the scenes at Seafolly and Lost Girls.

Look out Miranda Kerr, Bethany is hot on your heels!

It's so lovely to see how supportive our Brats and their families are of one another and the lasting friendships that are being created out on the shoots.

We can't help but have a little gush about our latest arrival. Apollo the English Toy Terrier is doing swimmingly in his new role as Executive Assistant to the CEO!

FRESHLY BAKED GOODS

Speaking of a family affair, we would love to hear any news from your home front. If you have had any new arrivals or have a 'bun in the oven' send us some details . Freshly baked goods are hot property! Recently it seems that every second casting request has been for 3-6 month young newbies. You may have noticed our squeals for help on Facebook for these recent gigs. As you probably know, thus far we have only accepted kiddies from the age of 6 months which we will now lower to 4 months to try and cater for the demand! Healthy mums, dads and grandparents continue to be the signature dish for Australian advertising. Send us some snaps of your wife, husband, gran and grandpa if you think they've got a bit of something spesh going on... It's not just wine that gets better with age! Below is Mila, one of our gorgeous new bubs and her equally yummy mummy Bernadette.
